Definition: Only users that have made contributions(have commented) have been taken into account. In the past 11 months that is.

Country flairs and Flair texts have been taken into account. Users without flairs have not been taken into account. Users with flairs such as "European Union" have been added only if they have included their country of origin, city, region, iso2 or iso3 country code somewhere in the flair title. The rest have been ignored. Users with flairs that do not represent countries but regions or cities have been classified and added to the respective countries: Bavaria > Germany; Naples > Italy. The classification however is automatic so a small number of users has been skipped. These numbers may not be 100% accurate but they are close to the actual numbers.
